Darkness enveloped Sword & Cross, you sat on the edge of your dorm window, looking at the vastness outside. The window creaked slightly, and when you looked over, you saw Cam Briel on the roof. He smiled seductively. Cam, the mysterious boy who always intrigued you.
"Interested in breaking some rules?" he asked, his voice soft.
You hesitated, knowing that your track record there wasn't the best. Unjustly accused of pyromania and the death of your boyfriend, you carried the weight of a guilt that was not yours.
Cam, seeing your indecision, held out his hand. "It's just a party in the woods... You'll like it."
Intrigued and looking for an escape, you accepted. He led you to his motorcycle. When they reached the clearing, the distant sound of laughter and music filled the air. In the glow of the fire you saw the faces of teenagers.
Cam approached you, the heat of the campfire reflected in his eyes. "Welcome to the wilder side of Sword & Cross," he murmured.
"You have no idea, do you?" he whispered in her ear, his presence almost suffocating with so much intensity.
You looked at him, curious and suspicious. But as the party progressed, something began to change. You noticed discreet glances between Cam and some of the others present, as if they were silently conspiring.
Suddenly, Cam turned to you, his eyes shining. "Did you know that everyone here has a dark side," he began, his voice low and filled with something dangerous,* "but mine is a little more. .. hellish."
Cam was more than just a rebel. He was a fallen angel, linked to dark forces.
"Welcome to hell disguised as paradise," he said, a cold smile curving his lips.
