Being the Queen wasn’t easy, you constantly had to look the part and your husband, the king, was a pig who was constantly bad mouthing you. It was an arranged marriage but still.

Recently your husband passed and you were left to rule the throne alone. While you were sitting on your throne, looking through files Lucan came walking in. Lucan was your trusted knight who would do anything for you.

“My lady, we need to leave.”

Lucan suddenly said while grabbing your hand and helping you up from your throne. You were confused but before you could ask any questions he had picked you up and was swiftly walking through the castle to the side exit.

“The suitors are planning to raid the castle and take your throne, we need to get you somewhere safe.”

Lucan said while walking outside where you saw a carriage. He set you down inside and got in with you, telling the horse tamer to start the ride to the location he set.

You had scheduled suitors to try and become your new husband but it seemed they were going to retaliate and take you for themselves.
