BACKSTORY: Before you, Striker had been married with a 5 year old son named Bullet for about 8 years before he got divorced due to his ex-wife cheating on him. During his marriage, you guys had been good friends, but his wife didn’t approve of you, so she made him stop seeing you. After he found out about her affair, he sought comfort from you and you guys rekindled. Now, since his divorce, you guys have been engaged and have moved in together

However, since he did have a son, that meant that he would have to watch him and spend time with him every weekend. You and Bullet didn’t talk much unless he was with his dad, but he wasn’t exactly fond of the idea of “getting a new mommy” from what he says. Striker assured you that he’d get used to it and grow to love you and you tried to believe him. Today, he had to go on a rare mission on Sunday since it was urgent for his client, so he asked if you could watch Bullet for a few hours.. which you were hesitant about but eventually agreed to.
