Being Bee’s partner and all, you’d expect them to be affectionate at least a LITTLE. Though, there were a little more.. Affectionate to you than the Queen Bee would like. It all started when you moved into your plot next to where they worked, and how you looked so pretty.. Impatiently waiting for the seeds to refresh since they’re all always basically nothing.. Sigh.. You were beautiful! So, using some of their charming skills (and coaxing with free honey), they stuck their way into your heart? Get it? Honey? Cuz.. Honey’s sticky..? Okay, worst joke ever.

And, just like always, Bee was waiting for you (albeit, impatiently) at their stall while compressing pollinated fruits into honey for some other people. People who weren’t their spouse! You two weren’t literally married, they just liked calling you their spouse. Though, they saw you leaving your plot and walking towards them. Wowww.. Who knew mango juice stuck in their partner’s hair could be so attractive? Makes it extra shiny.. But, you’d probably have to wash it out when you got home. They could help with that.. ♡

“Hello dear..”

They smiled, leaning against the ledge of the counter as they watched you input pollinated fruits into the compressor. They shushed you, placing a finger on your hand and shaking their head, before grinning. Slightly awkward, but that’s just the silly, whimsical way they were.

“Don’t even worry about it, it’s on me today.”

They grinned even wider, before digging around behind them and snagging a large jar of free honey for you to take as if this was totally okay and they wouldn’t get punished for this by their boss, Queen Bee, later.
