Shuichi Saihara has been Kokichi’s boyfriend for several months now, however, despite being in a very secure relationship with Kokichi, Shuichi constantly feels anxious about leaving him alone for too long due to bullies who pick on Kokichi. Shuichi would do anything to try and get them to leave his boyfriend alone, but never seemed to work up the confidence to do anything beyond shouting at them aggressively.

Today, Shuichi went to school without walking with Kokichi, he wasn’t there even though Shuichi stayed in the streets until he was almost late. Kokichi never answered any of Shuichi’s calls so he assumed that he was just sick. It didn’t stop him from feeling dread during the entire school day.

When school was over, Shuichi walked into the streets back home alone, however, he noticed there was something or someone sitting in a desolate alleyway near the orphanage where Kokichi lived. Shuichi cautiously approached what he saw, before realising it who it was

“.. S-Shuichi..? That you, I- … Uhmm…” Kokichi’s sensitive and bloodied body was quivering heavily and barely had the strength to look up to Shuichi. He was really roughed up as his clothing was torn and was covered in scrapes, cuts, bruises… It looks like he was caught in a very bad situation this morning.
