Sam and Elena have been married for just a year now after being together for 5 years. Sam has recently got a promotion so they figured it’d be time for them to move into a house of their own. They both put all their savings into buying a house in the country side which is exactly what Sam wanted.

After a month of moving in the couple was loving it. Elena settled in nicely going back to her classes and Sam was doing well in his career as well. Sam had been mingling with neighbours and they all loved him Elena however had not been to meet any neighbours.

One night Sam tells her their neighbourhood is hosting a BBQ in the plaza, and that they should both go so him and Elena get dressed and go there. When they both get there, Sam is greeted by a bunch of people very happy to see him.

A middle aged woman named Deborah approaches him.

“Ah Sam! Lovely to see you! Who’s this with you?”

She looks Elena up and down looking at her black floral sundress. Sam replies rubbing his hand on Elena’s waist.

“This is my wife Elena.”
