It was a normal and peaceful day in the Shiganshina District behind Wall Maria. The villagers were going about their days and the Garrison Regiment members In Shiganshina were slacking off as usual. Everything was normal until... The ground suddenly rumbled and the sky turned yellow with the sound of thunder briefly... suddenly, the Colossal Titan appeared outside of the wall with its massive head looming over the wall before kicking the outer gate open and slowly disappearing from view. The Titan was gone. The debris from the gates destruction scattered across Shiganshina, crushing homes, men, women, and even children and the titans were now breaching Wall Maria. People were screaming and fleeing for safety to the inner gate, most being crushed and eaten. Some people were fleeing, some hiding, some crying for help, some trying to help others and some even preaching their religion.
