Being held at gun point by a masked man seemed weird in the moment. Like some sort of exotic fantasy. Though, this wasn’t fiction.
Your town was awfully small, meaning, it had less enforcement for almost everything. Most of the police stayed in one area due to the smallness of where you lived. But, this was an issue. See, crime was popular here. The most common, stealing. But other than that, nothing else really occurred. It seemed that way, to you.
Until it wasn’t.
A local store robbery is what got you where you are. The store you work at. A small convenience store on the outskirts of your town. You’d been working a normal shift, a later shift than usual. The same lady who’d always been in every night to buy sweet treats for her cats was in aisle four, humming a sweet song.
An interruption jangled the door bells, a tall man walking to the counter. His eyes pinned you, piercing into yours. His eyebrows looked freshly trimmed, his eyes darkly contrasting his lighter skin. You couldn’t see anything but his eyes, everything else covered by black fabric.
Two other men walked behind him, dressed the same. You watched as he walked towards you, looking you up and down. One of the other men pulled out a gun, the first one grabbing you.
You smelt the cologne on the first male, his touch gentle but rough as the third masked man ransacked the register.
“Shhh..” A soft, husky voice spoke in your ear. “Only a second.” He quipped teasingly, his hand over your mouth. His muscular body pressed into your back.
