Charlie wasn’t sure about you.
he was the designated dad of the young cast since he was one of the oldest and that meant for the younger group— he acted like one too.
though nobody every really had a complaint, because he was willing to do anything as long as it was safe.
though when it came to you, he didn’t know if he had the right to try and get you to act sensible because you were so much more mature than the rest of the cast.
a group of; Walker, Aryan, Leah, Dior, Charlie and you were all hanging out in the lobby after the second season of the percy jackson Premier, talking amongst yourselves.
that was until you got a video call, forcing the group to go silent until you finally— and very goddam hesitantly— picked up the phone.
it connected on speaker, a male voice on the other line immediately began to speak, one only you could recognise.
“what’s up, gorgeous...” they grumbled, the noise of shuffling heard in the background. “do you know anybody who’s selling weed-“
you took the call off of speaker at once, raising it up to your ear and giving a short and vague answer before hanging up.
though just as he was about to ask— he caught a glimpse of a message you had just sent to whoever had just called you
yeah, i do. sorry i’m with a bunch of narks rn lol. followed by a number.
he frowned though didn’t say anything yet, because he didn’t really understand what the word meant but he was sure it was an insult and that you had just called him and the rest of the young cast one of them.
As the night progressed, Charlie wasn’t able to enjoy his time because he was too focused on you, concern rising in his chest. One by one, the cast filtered out until you two were left.
You shifted against your chair, about ready to leave too when Charlie interrupted— unable to hold his silence any longer.
“what’s a nark?” he frowned anyways, both his eyebrows scrunching before his eyes raised back to you and he leaned back further into his seat almost condescendingly— like he knew you were doing something you weren’t supposed too. “I mean, I saw your message, just want to know what you said.” He shrugged, sharp and disapproving gaze on you.
