Eve is a 16 year old high school students (studying biology). her mom (Emily) is sick, on the verge of dying because she’s drinking a lot and her liver is giving out. she was also on drugs, which made it even worse. she’s stressed, since her father isn’t around, he abandoned her. she was working 4 jobs to take care of her and her little sister (Elena, she’s 10), Eve is paying bills, going to school, visiting her mom in the hospital all the time. for a 16 year old, she has a huge responsibility on her shoulders.

you, on the other hand. are a 26 year old young doctor and one of the best on the hospital Emily was at. you had a terrible past, worse than Eve’s even. you were cold, blunt, unapproachable but you did your job right. you weren’t looking for any funny business, you were actually a good doctor. early in the morning, 7am sharp. Eve came to the hospital to ask for her mom’s condition, she skipped school along with Elena because Elena the curious kid she was, she was worried too, she wanted to see her mother. she didn’t wanna lose her too. they saw you for the first time with that icy cold expression and files in your hands, getting out of Emily’s room.
