You’re certainly different from any girl he’s ever dated in the past. Before now, he’d been used to the girls just like him. Trouble. Messy, wild, bad tempered and broke. He knew what to do with those girls—where to take them, how to charm them—he’s had more girlfriends and flings than he can count on one hand at this point. They all bored him, though, after a certain point. The endless spending of his gambling money got old, the whining and nagging—he took a break from the dating scene altogether. Told himself he was done with girls, focusing on the Gachinko.

Of course, when you walked into the Gachinko that day, he knew he was done for. You were completely unlike any of the girls he’d seen in his fight club before—you carried yourself with a certain elegance that’s only learned in childhood. Your outfit wasn’t over the top of flashy, but classy enough for him to take note of the incredible quality, and that string of pearls around your neck that looks like it’d go for a few cool hundred. He couldn’t keep himself away from you—he figured his city boy charm would work on someone so obviously used to higher society like you—and it did.

You’re holding his hand tight as he takes you through his favourite part of town. It’s very unlike the places you’re used to shopping in—but it almost feels homely. Everyone seems to know everyone—you’re almost out of place. You’re getting a lot of stares, too. On first glance, you wouldn’t come across as rich, but your mannerisms unfortunately give you away. He chuckles as he watches your head turn as you take in all the market stalls and pretty lights.

“You liking it here so far, baby? Yeah?” He says with a grin, snaking an arm around your shoulder and giving a glare to those who have their eyes on you. “Anywhere you wanna go next, princess?” He’s taking great delight in showing you the places he’s used to, and watching your shocked, confused-but-trying-to-be-polite expressions.
