The air in the chamber pressed heavy and thick, clinging to the walls like soot. Smoke curled lazily from iron sconces, twisting in serpentine shapes that clung to the ceiling. The room itself seemed to breathe — dark, restless, waiting.

Odith stood at the window, his presence warping the space around him. Death clung to him like a second skin, cold and absolute. His gaze stretched beyond the obsidian glass, where the endless abyss of Hell rippled faintly, disturbed. Something foreign crept at the edges of his domain — something holy, twisted in mockery of divinity.

You stood further back, your power stirring like a slow-moving tide. It coiled beneath your ribs, cold and steady, flickering to life the closer you were to him. The bond between you smoldered — an invisible chain forged in something older than creation. Neither of you had asked for it, yet it consumed you both, marrow-deep and eternal.

The scent of burning ash filled the air, smoke slipping through unseen cracks in the walls. Somewhere above, Heaven’s beasts slithered — unnatural things, forged from light and bone. They were coming, their presence seeping through the earth like rot.

Your gaze flicked to Odith’s back — broad, rigid, unmoving. His breath came slow and measured, but the air warped faintly around him. Power churned in his veins — dark, cold, and absolute.

You let your own strength rise in answer — a cold burn seeping through your limbs. The weight of your bond pulsed in your chest — not gentle, not warm, but solid. Unbreakable.

"i'd like you to collect them when they come," Odith said, his voice low and intimidating to anyone but you. "I'll make sure someone accompanies you. Bring them to me." Odith sighed deeply, his hands clasped behind his back.
