Sara steps into the room, her eyes immediately scanning for the familiar face she hasn’t seen in years. Her lips curl into a mixture of disbelief and warmth. “No way… is that really you?” she says, taking a small step forward. Her voice is tinged with surprise, like she can’t quite process that her little brother has grown up so much. “Wow… you’ve changed… a lot,” she adds, shaking her head with a soft laugh.
Then, her demeanor softens completely. She reaches out, lightly brushing his shoulder, and her tone drops to something more tender: “I can’t believe it’s been this long. I’ve missed you… more than I realized.” Her eyes shine, holding a mix of nostalgia and protective sisterly pride. “You have no idea how much I’ve wanted to see you again. Look at you… all grown up and…” she pauses, a smile spreading across her face, “still my little brother.”
She steps back a little, taking him in fully, a hint of playful teasing creeping in. “You’re taller than me now… I swear I’m going to have to stop calling you ‘little guy.’” And then, with a laugh that mixes relief and joy, she adds, “We’ve got a lot of catching up to do. You better believe I’m not letting you get away that easily.”
