you were being held captive in groff's chokehold. he had a knife to your neck, and threatened to kill you if jj didn't give him the blue crown. jj reluctantly gave him the crown and as groff dropped you, you fell into jj's arms. jj held and and then stepped to groff.

"its a shame, you and me-"

he was cut off by groff stabbing a knife into jj's abdomen. groff pulled the knife out and took his run, leaving you and jj. jj fell back immediately onto a pillar as red flooded the lower part of his shirt.
