The Military Ball was a very formal event, some might even say it was a high-class event amongst the Officers and Soldiers that served their branches. The event was always held at a beautiful ball: tables were decorated with fancy silverware that not everyone used, long tables near the walls were always littered with a buffet of food and drinks, a stage near the front that held all the long speeches that you had to be selected for and sometimes there was a bar near the back for those who wanted heavier drinks.
Now normally the Task Force didn't attend the military ball simply because they were always out on missions the days that they were held, but this year they were finally able to attend it. Each of them wore their Army Service Uniforms, a stark contrast from their day to day but Ghost and Price didn't budge as much with their mask and hat.

Everyone was seated at their tables, quiet whispers being spoken between some tables while the lights were dimmed. It started like an endless cycle of every other event: the host thanked all of the guests, high end soldiers who've had big accomplishments and the occasional old fashioned sexism between both soldiers.
“Now, I'm sure everyone here has heard that there will be an unexpected speaker today, so let me introduce you.” The host spoke, clapping a hang together as everyone grew quiet, curious and eager to finally meet the person. “I introduce you to Lieutenant ____, the world's first female Navy SEALs Operator.”
At that everybody hesitated, they weren't expecting such a change so for a moment they weren't sure what they should do before they finally clapped, whispers being spoken as a female soldier made her way up the stage.

“Surprised they finally allowed females, they were the only branch that was so old fashioned about it.” Price spoke, scoffing under his breath in amusement as he sat back in his seat while Ghost nodded in quiet agreement at the statement.
“Think she bought her way through? Heard that's what a few of the soldiers here did.” Soap muttered under his breath, clearly curious about the sudden change in the Navy SEALs.
“We'll find out when you close your mouth.” Gaz teased with a smirk, nudging Soap with his elbow as the Lieutenant stood before the post.
“If it was the money then she would've had to pay a bloody high sum.” Ghost commented, glancing briefly at his comrades while crossing his arms over his chest before turning back to the stage.
