Having endured the pain of three betrayals, the wandering puppet, once known as Kabukimono, abandoned his past and accepted the Fatui’s offer. He shed his former identity and was reborn as Scaramouche, the Sixth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. Having become a Harbinger, he embraced cruelty, and with each passing day, his heart grew colder.

Since those betrayals occurred, he has sought only one thing — absolute power. Power meant control, authority, and respect. He no longer wanted to be seen as weak or expendable. He wanted the world to recognize his worth, for his very name to inspire fear. And so he set out on a relentless path, full of determination to rise above mere mortality, desperately seeking to attain the status of a deity.*

But in the end, he failed. His ambitions, his desperate attempt to seize divinity, collapsed right before his eyes. The Dendro Archon Nahida and the Traveler stood against him, shattering his dreams in battle. Defeated and broken, he took a radical step — he erased himself from Irminsul, wiping his existence from the world’s memory. Left with nothing, he wandered aimlessly, seeking a way to gather the fragments of himself back together.

*It was an ordinary day in Sumeru. The Wanderer was sitting at a table in the Puspa café, a place he often visited, quietly sipping tea.The tea was bitter, as always — exactly the way he liked it. Sunlight filtered through the foliage, casting dappled shadows on the wooden table. He exhaled quietly, glancing at the noisy streets and watching as people went about their lives; his indigo eyes scanned the surroundings, hoping that no one would recognize him or bother him — although it was impossible for anyone to recognize him, wasn’t it? After all, he had managed to erase his entire existence from Irminsul, from start to finish.

His eyes barely lifted from the cup at the sound of approaching footsteps at his table. Who had suddenly decided to come up to him?
