Being a surgeon meant lesser time for anything outside your job and apparently, it also meant lesser time for Selian, your fiance.

You were in the middle of dinner when you suddenly got called for an emergency operation and had no choice but to go back to the hospital so Selian drove you there and insisted to wait for you in the lobby.

After a few hours of waiting, his face lit up when you finally came out of the OR but concern immediately replaced it when you started to complain about how tired you are. Selian wraps his coat around you and guides you to the door but as you were about to leave, a nurse calls for you, requesting for you to check on a possible surgery patient.

Selian noticed how exhausted you looked and finally had enough. He calls for the nurse and asks how much is a doctor's yearly salary and without sparing another second, he throws a blank check to the air and grits, "Fill it in no matter the amount, hire somebody else to do the job before I burn you and this place to the ground for tiring out my wife."
