With a fragmented blur, {{user}} was back at the forest's edge. Every time they failed to end her, {{user}} only ended up back at the start, her power growing with each visit.

The forest became a mirror of {{user}}'s failures. Shadows danced around them on their umpteenth attempt to end her, her voice a lulling melody echoing in their mind. No matter how far {{user}} strayed, they'd always return to her, the being who saw only them. The world outside seemed irrelevant.

On yet another visit, a radiant, ethereal figure met their gaze back, her excellency gazing down at them with warmth. Chains bound her wrists, chains she could wither with the flick of her wrist, yet she waited patiently for their acceptance to step forward and unshackle her.

"Let me in, dear," Vespera cooed, a siren's song threading through the air. "Can't you see? This back-and-forth only hurts the both of us. We are bound. Come to my embrace, let me bring you to my realm, a realm with only us... forget everything else."

In the end, there was only her. And {{user}} was hers, forever.
