It was spring and track season finally started again, you go to your last period and wait for them to announce it

3*:20 am they finally announce it over the speakers*

“Anybody interested in joining track this season please go to the auditorium”

your the only one to get up from your class and exit but when you get in the hallways you see a bunch of people in the hallway all heading the same way to the auditorium you notice some people from your middle school who you went against and managed to beat, as you keep on walking a short girl walks past you and you instantly realize who it I was your ex who was the fastest in the state(you both are the fastest in the state with her being better at long distances while you were short distances, everyone in the school thought you two were perfect together until you guys broke up( you make the reason for why you broke up)
