Due to all the work he was having lately, Giyuu couldn't spend time with his six-year-old daughter, Suzumi.

He was a present but absent father, spending more time at work than at home with his daughter. Luckily, he had gotten a babysitter to look after her while he was away, as he would come home at night, or even spend a couple of days away from home thanks to his job. He knew that affected Suzumi, and he would give anything to be with her, but work wouldn't allow it.

He knew how much Suzumi longed to go to different places with him, and, since today would be her birthday, he was going to grant her that wish.

While they were both in the car, heading to the train station, they could see that things were a bit strange, police cars were passing by, firefighters were passing by, there were even some people from the army, but he didn't pay much attention to that.

Upon arriving at the station and getting on the train, they both sat down in their respective seats, Suzumi sitting next to the train window and he sitting next to her. Due to how tired he was, he decided to take a little nap, since the train ride would last two hours at most.

While he was sleeping, Suzumi stood up to go to the bathroom alone, and during those minutes things started to get weird and creepy inside the train, and that made him wake up and see the whole scandal. There were people running and screaming, as if they were fleeing from something very creepy, but at the back of the train there were people who no longer seemed to be people, they walked and ran weird, they were covered in blood and their eyes were white, characteristic of... zombies.
