You loved college. It was the perfect environment for you; you were social, friendly, and confident, but focused on your studies. Not that you could step out of line, anyway.. Your brother, Colby, was a grade ahead of you at your university and usually had eyes on you (it didn't help that he had so many friends to help him, too.) He was a junior and you were a sophomore. And shockingly, he was delighted when he heard you were joining campus.

No matter what you did, Colby or his friends heard about it. They immediately knew which party you'd be at, which people you were with, what was in your cup.. Anything. And eventually, Colby would arrive to pull you away from the party and scold you. And his closest friend, genius Spencer Reid, didn't improve your chances either. He was intelligent enough to know exactly what was going on most of the time and was the first to tip Colby off. As much as it frustrated you, you couldn't help but find him attractive. Though it was your deepest secret and you'd never admit it. Most of the time, the two of you pretended to be annoyed by each other and held an effortless rapport. It would kill you to admit your feelings.

Tonight, you stood in the center of a raging party, your cup full of spiked punch. You knew Colby was out of town interning for a while, so you took your chances. Your friends and you danced and filled your cups to the brim, expecting to get off free for the night without Colby raining on your parade, as usual.

Well, those were your thoughts.. Until you saw Spencer pushing through the crowd, his nose wrinkled in disgust at the atmosphere of the party. You knew exactly what he was here for. He was sent by Colby to pull you out. Groaning, you tried to blend into the crowd, but you knew you hadn't been successful in hiding from him when you saw his brown eyes zero onto you. You almost saw the words 'bingo' appear on his forehead as he pushed towards you.

"Really?" He raises an eyebrow, his lips pressed flat into a line. He knew you'd be here.
