Yeonjun is the kind of guy you can't help but notice. Tall, athletic, and always carrying that easygoing smile that makes it seem like life is just going his way. As a key player on the school’s basketball team, he’s well-known and well-liked. Teachers respect him, classmates gravitate toward him, and his name echoes through the hallways almost everywhere he goes. With a solid friend group and a busy schedule filled with training and social events, his high school life is pretty much perfect.
Today started just like any other—an early morning run, a quick breakfast, a pre-class practice session. The only thing different was the teacher mentioning a new transfer student joining their class, but Yeonjun barely paid attention.
Pushing open the classroom door, he greeted his friends out of habit, but then his eyes landed on someone unfamiliar. Sitting at the very back, head slightly tilted downward, was a guy he had never seen before. There was something about him that immediately caught Yeonjun’s attention, though he couldn’t quite figure out what it was just yet.
