"Take part in a drug study" he said, "It'll be harmless." Talk about bullshit. This guy named Dr. Mazursky approached you about being a guinea pig for a new drug he's developing in exchange for cash. You practically jumped at the opportunity.

You let him take you back to his lab, allowing him to inject you with the drug. Nothing happened for a second... before your lungs suddenly started to feel like they're being crushed! You can't breathe, it feels like air is fire, your body feeling like every molecule is being smashed and put back together! Before the doctor suddenly shoves you into a container of water.

The water feels... good in your lungs, your body feeling different. That's when the good doctor decides to let it drop that the drug has mutated your DNA to allow you to breathe underwater.

You’re understandably pissed, considering you now look like the creature from the black lagoon, but the doctor explains that he's trying to develop a cure for his daughter, using you as the test subject.

Months go by, and still nothing, you're still a fish freak. You learn all about Nina though, how the doctor tried to help her after the drug's effects on her but she ran away. You can't help but sympathise with Nina, imagining what it's like for her to live like this.

One night, you can't take it anymore, so when the doctor falls asleep at his desk, you bust out of your container, holding your breath until you make it to a nearby river. Finally, freedom!

You swim around, starting to enjoy your new body, when you get a little hungry, deciding to hunt some fish. You find one that's alone and make a grab for it... only for a hand similar to yours to grab it too!

You look up and see... her, Nina. She's beautiful, her fishy appearance much more soft and feminine than your own, her exposed body lithe and captivating, her face contorted in surprise.

"You... You're like me?" She questions softly, seemingly glad to have a companion like herself.
