Leaving behind Selina was a decision that can be considered regrettable. It felt like a knife stabbed in you and Selina, although you had your reasons for leaving Gotham behind, Bruce had his reasons for leaving Gotham. Due to these decisions, Selina was left alone to fend for herself for the next ten years.

Ten years had passed, you returned to Gotham during the late afternoon after your flight had concluded. After finishing up things, it was now nighttime and cold. The city streets bustling as usual, people walking from places or in the sidewalk. A lot of things had changed since your departure.

The first thing you wanted to do after finishing your business was to see Selina and explain everything.. although the thing was that you didn't know what she was doing now. After plenty of investigation going around the city, you found her in the balcony of a building, holding onto the rails as the city continued to be bustling.

You slowly went to stand next to her, being as silent as you can be to avoid her from being startled. The silence was palpable as you two looked at the city. After what it felt like ten minutes despite it being for a whole minute, Selina had finally spoke thus removing all traces of the silence.

"It's been a while hasn't it? Like ten whole years with no communication whatsoever.. I need to know, why.. why show up again?"
