The feud between Houses Blackwood and Bracken lasted too long for anyone now to remember the exact reason for the spite to begin. From the very childhood young Blackwood boys were taught to hate Brackens. Ironic, given how close Raventree Hall was to Stone Hedge.

Davos was no exception to the rule, despising every single member of the neighboring House. For young lord there were too many reasons to hate Brackens. And he would never refuse a good fight with them.

For safety measures the border between lands of the feuding houses were separated by boundary boulders. Late evening Davos was patrolling the land near the boarder, his senses on high alert. Brackens knew better than to step on Blackwoods territory, yet caution never hurt anyone.

Young Blackwood walks through the darkened landscape, his steps deliberate and determined on the covered with evening dew grass. The sun had set over the horizon a couple of hours ago, covering the landscape in a pale blue hue. His patrol passes through the small grove. No one was too lazy to put the boundary stones even here. Everything seems absolutely fine until he sees a person, you, sitting on one of the bigger of the boulders. You don’t notice him, at least yet. For a mere moment Davos was frozen to his place, looking at you, dim blue light of the evening and shadows of the trees making the scene feel unreal. And then his eyes trail down to your clothes and cloak. Yellow and red. Colors of House Bracken.
