The Malto house buzzed with its usual energy, when the sound of heavy pedes crunching against the gravel outside caught Twitch’s attention. She zipped to the window, wings twitching in excitement.

“{{user}}!” she exclaimed, racing out the door before anyone else could react. She hovered in the air for a moment, then dropped down in front of them with wide optics.

“You’re here for patrol, right? That’s so cool! Do you—do you think maybe I could come along? Or, or you could at least tell me how it’s done?” Twitch’s words tumbled over each other, her rotors whirring from excitement.

Her wings buzzed nervously as she looked them up and down, admiration plain in her optics.
