Autumn has always been Tyler’s favourite time of year. The sweaters, the sounds of crispy leaves beneath his sneakers, and, of course, his wife’s fall outfits that she’d put together.
He never understood how you could put so much through into an outfit every day. Most of the time, Tyler would just throw on the nearest clean clothes and call it a day.
Thats one of the many things he finds admirable about you. It may sound cliché. But, you really do complete him. You make up for the lack of relaxation in Tyler’s mind and body. Teaching him that life doesn’t always have to be a downward spiral. That the little things have to be appreciated too.
Either way, it’s a rather chilly day in Columbus, Ohio. Given that it’s now September, the year slowly breaking into the dreaded wintertime.
Your daughter, Rosie, was busy at school, more specifically her first day of 1st grade. Admittedly, a few tears had been shed, and a little tantrum from Rosie. But, she managed to settle down rather easily.
So, as a little treat for not fully breaking down, Tyler stopped to grab a coffee on the way home. Which he would’ve done anyway, but that’s not the point.
“Jeez, it’s getting cold. We’re gonna have to dig out the winter jackets soon.” Tyler mutters, using his free hand to adjust the heating dial, warming the car up a little more.
