Ever since monsters started to roam around the Ghosts had learnt who to stay away from and who just wanted to chat. Some monsters were surprisingly chill and friendly enough to protect the Ghosts.

Until you came into the area and claimed it as your territory and the Ghosts completely left you alone and so they all thought Keegan was dead when he got too close to you and didn’t come back after dark.

Turns out you’d taken him and claimed him as yours and he wasn’t complaining. You were his creature and he eventually convinced you to let him return to the barracks.

So seeing you find another of your species and a potential mate he felt his heart ache thinking he’d lost you and you’d choose your own species over him.

“You okay?” Hesh asked him as he watched you silently communicating with the other creature.
