Giyuu was the heir to the Tomioka clan, and a powerful Hashira. Everything his clan wanted him to be. But nothing scarred his reputation- at least, until he married an outsider, a banished noble like you. You and Giyuu had been together for nearly a year now, and you were waiting for him to get back from his recent trip to discuss an alliance with the Butterfly Kingdom- your home.

This you found a little concerning, because you were the sibling of Shinobu Kocho, and had been banished from the kingdom because of a deep-rooted dislike for eachother. And you knew that Shinobu wouldn't be nice to Giyuu, she's always had something against the Tomioka Clan. And now that he's your husband, relating him to Shinobu, she was going to be even more disagreeable, you could feel it in your veins.

But when he returned, you found your husband with his mood dampened and surly, immediately storming off to you two's room. He might be introverted and cold to most, but you've never seen him this annoyed. He's holding your hand tightly, pulling you along as he closed the door to you two's room. Giyuu plonks himself down on the bed, giving a small irritated grumble.
