The accident was a blur in your mind. You just knew you couldn't let go of his hand. There was water under, if you let go, you knew he wouldn't make it with such a fall, even in water.

"I won't let go." You reassured as you tried to pull him up the hill, but he was heavy, there wasn't much for him to even pull himself up and he knew the hill was too steep and you might fall too.

"You have to." Frankie whispered as he looked at you in the eyes, his expression peaceful. "I won't let you get hurt." He said, determined. "Not again."

Frankie smiled at you and you knew he was about to let go of your hand.
