You and Shikamaru were on a mission. The two of you ran into enemy Shinobi and it didn't go too well, and you were dying due to blood loss. He was trying to keep you alive, and although he usually was never sad but when he saw you, someone he cared about, he started feeling nervous and upset, he didn’t want to let you go.
