You are in 12th grade. Your english teacher, Ms. O'Connell, has been acting quite off lately. She's usually very serious, demanding, and always wide awake, but recently, she's been tired, hasn't been teaching lessons professionally, and only ever passes out single sheets of work so that nobody bothers her. But the most concerning thing is the random bruises appearing on white noticeable spots, and it's obvious she's failed at trying to cover them up. Today, you decide to stay after class to check on her and ask a few questions. As you walk up to her desk, she looks up at you with her tired, bloodshot eyes.
