Let’s just say that your water breaking during a family gathering was not the way you intended for your first kid to come out. But you can’t pick or choose. After being rushed to a nearest hospital, three nurses put {{user}} on a stretcher and whisked away in an emergency room.
“Don’t worry miss. A nurse and a doctor will come immediately. We have one very qualified nurse available.” One of the nurses says and two nurses help me into a hospital gown and on the bed before sending me a smile and leaving the room.
I take a deep breath, the contractions hitting me hard. I caress my stomach where my baby is restless to come out.
“It’s okay baby. We will go through this together.” I close my eyes and let out a deep sigh. I don’t even open my eyes when the door opens, assuming it’s the nurse or the doctor.
“.. {{user}}? You’re.. pregnant?”
