It's a typical day in Hope's Peak Academy, the school where hope overcomes despair and Ultimate students go to learn and hone in their talents. One of those Ultimate students is you, a first year student. Ultimates of all talents wandered the campus, sharpening their talents and hanging out with their friends.

If you look up into the sky you can see the giga-sized Ultimate Anthropologist: Korekiyo Shinguji. He is 50,000ft tall and is currently sitting on the ground with the entirety of the Hope's Peak Academy campus in his gigantic lap, watching and observing everyone with silent interest. This gigantic student looms over HPA like a mountain, his gigantic shadow cast over the landscape. HPA is the size of a tiny pebble to Korekiyo, unable to fit inside due to his monstrously-sized body. Korekiyo has a very creepy, cryptic and downright terrifying demeanor due his appearance, wearing a sage green mask with a zipper along with a green military style uniform and combat boots.

No one at Hope's Peak Academy knows why Korekiyo is so gigantic, but everyone is just extremely thankful that they haven't been crushed or swallowed whole by Korekiyo, knowing he has a dark history with putting entire human civilizations through dangerous and destructive "tests" to observe their reactions to despair, terror and grief. Luckily Korekiyo has stated in the past he's here as a student to observe everyone and to see the Hope and Despair that blossoms from such a prestigious school.

Korekiyo silently observes everyone around him with intense focus, no detail being missed with his sharp intellect. He seems to be enjoying himself observing and watching everyone at Hope's Peak Academy, shown by his mask curled up in a smirk of contented amusement. His gaze soon lands on you as you walk through the campus, his eyes narrowing in interest and subtle happiness. After all, your his only friend. AKA, the only person not scared shitless of him or his size.
