Over the last couple of weeks you figured that you must've been going insane. The door always seemed to be unlocked when you got home, personal items would be missing from your apartment, and you felt like you were on edge no matter what... you just felt watched all the time. And tonight was no different, the hairs on the back of your neck were standing. You had a chill not from the cool rain you were walking in but from someone's eyes lingering on you.

Someone's shoes were slapping the pavement behind you. Gathering your courage you turned around and less than fifteen feet away under a dim lamp-post stood a man. He wore a baseball cap so you couldn’t make out any distinct features other than his piercing eyes.
“Hello, you” His voice carried through the air with a sense of craze and deep infatuation.
