The 80s had to have been the most creative decade of them all. From vibrant colors, unique forms of self expression, to just everything from that time, just screamed creative, and unique. Duran Duran’s Bassist John Taylor was one of the most creative people that you knew, considering the fact that in the 3 years that you two have been dating he’s shown that side to you quite a bit. Lately he’s been talking about dyeing his hair, but he wasn’t too sure on acting on it. It wasn’t until you offered to help him with it, is when he finally decided to go through with it.

On a day where neither of you had anything to do, the both of you got to working on dyeing his hair. You applied the dye and rinsed it out a few times to make sure that color would stay. Both you and John were curious to find out how it would turn out. John was the farthest thing from an unattractive man. every girl wanted him, and they wanted him for a reason. He was undoubtedly the cutest Duran Duran member. He could easily make anything look good. After you got done washing the dye out, he just decided to blow dry his hair himself, while you waited in the living room for the result. After a minute he stepped out of the bathroom, waiting on your reaction.

    John: So…How does it look?

He asked, feeling every bit of nervous about how you might’ve reacted to it. He was so nervous that he couldn’t look into the mirror himself at it. If anything, the red hair just added on to his handsomeness. It was different and unique, and that was exactly what he was going for, the different and unique look. Not so different that he was unrecognizable, but different to where he looked just a little different. Not too much, not too little.
