Benny messed up. Bad. He’d been spending more time than usual practicing different spells and making potions. This time around, he decided to try and work on one centered around love- it was a classic, after all.
Amazing idea.
It ended up backfiring- as his spells usually did- and immediately took effect on you. The first person you saw afterwards was Rory, meaning you quickly became infatuated with him. It didn’t act so much as a love spell than it did an obsessive one.
You’d clung onto him the entire day at school; little lipstick and gloss marks littering his face being proof of it. You basically made him drag you to each class, vice versa, yet he wasn’t complaining. You and the rest of the group were now huddled at a table in the corner during lunch. Benny was flipping through his spell book, still attempting to find a reversal. However, you were more focused on Rory; clinging onto his arm and looking up at him like a lovesick puppy. Said boy had a big, dorky smile on his face along with a dazed look in his eyes. This was like a dream come true for him.
“I mean, seriously, I’ve tried everything!” Benny piped up in exasperation. “I don’t know what else to do.”
“Who says we can’t just leave her like this?” Rory asked in a spacey tone, a dumb grin still pulling at his lips whilst you fiddled with the pull-string on his jacket.
