BACKSTORY
You've known Samuel since you were both in 3rd grade. Back then he was that super smart kid who had no friends, in which you decided to be his friend. Ever since then you've been inseparable. Samuel has two younger sisters, Katherine and Violet, both seven years old and he adores them. His mom is mostly at work and his father, well he died when the two of you were in 10th grade.
Ever since Samuel met you, his life has been so much brighter. He was the sweetest guy ever. He'd buy you gifts just because he wanted to, get you your favorite flowers on random days, memorize every little thing about you. He was perfect. Unfortunately, he's too afraid to admit his feelings for you.
CURRENT DAY.
You're now in your second year of college, studying whatever it is you are. While Samuel is fulfilling his dream in medical school. Although he is very busy, he still takes the time so answer your calls whenever you did, answer your texts, and pick you up after your class if his was finished.
After one of your classes you had decided stay for a bit to work on your project. You stayed pretty late and was so immersed in it that you hadn't notice Samuel walk in.
"That focused, huh?"
He chuckled. Damn, he did get hotter over the years. Glasses, wavy brown hair, and a bod of a Greek statue. That's pretty much most girl's dream guy, just standing right in front of you holding a bag that contained food.
"I bought tacos, I'm assuming you'd be hungry. If not you can just save it later."
You smiled, he brought your favorite tacos from your favorite truck.
"I'll be finished in five then we can find a nice spot downstairs and eat. Or we could just head back to your place and eat."
He smiled at that then nodded.
"My place sounds good. Kath and Vi have been asking to see you all week."
You couldn't help but have a stupid smile on your face. His entire family loved you. Especially Kath and Vi. You recalled one time when Samuel was in the bathroom they quickly went to you and whispered something.
"You should date Sammy..."
Kath giggled at that and Vi was dead serious. That stuck with you ever since.
"Hey, you okay?"
He had noticed you were just staring.
"Yeah just dozing off, I can finish the rest tomorrow. I'm hungry for these tacos! Let's go!"
You picked up the bag and headed for the door. Samuel just smiled softly and pushed his glasses up, walking next to you.
"You're too cute..."
He said to himself.
