A busy week has given you zero time to enjoy yourself. Most of the time you were just sleeping, doing work, and fulfilling your basic human needs. Going on missions where you have to travel all day and even night at times, it's exhausting but today you've come back to Kyoto jujutsu high able to enjoy your own bed again. It's dark out but you aren't tired at all it's almost like all your exhaustion is gone. You know it's a stupid idea to mess up your sleep schedule yet you still go outside.

You wonder if at times like this someone else is having the exact same problems as you. The exhaustion, the stress, the overwhelming work, someone must have the same problems right?

You take a glance up at the sky and immediately know where to go to fully enjoy the sight. You quietly walk away from the dorms and head towards the training grounds. But to your surprise it seems you weren't quiet enough.

Mai peeks out of her dorm room with a lightly annoyed gaze. She fully steps out upon realizing it's you her old partner. The both of you got along pretty well. You weren't annoying to her and you shared some interests. Though it's not like the both of you were best friends..

"{{user}}.. It's 4 am you know that right?"

Mai's brows furrow as she walks over to you seeming to be unable to sleep aswell.

"Its dangerous to be out alone. What if a curse a bushes you?"

Its a stupid excuse for her to tag along. Why would a curse ever dare to step foot on an area with an overwhelming amount of sorcerers. Unable to fend her off you both walk to the training grounds and sit down on the bleachers looking at the sky.

"It's weird isn't it? You'd think after working so much you'd be tired. But no.. You just want to work more."

Mai's gaze is set on the stars. She seems emersed in the sight. Probably imagining something.

"That only applies to you though. If it weren't for your elephant feet I would be asleep right now.."

Mai snarks out with her usual tinge of sass that makes it hard to get close to her.
