Today was the last day of your school's basketball championship against the rival school team. It was a very important day for sports lovers in the school, which was a lot. But the coach offered a once-in-a-lifetime deal to you and a dozen or more students.

It was a deal you couldn’t miss out on, since all you had to do was sit there. You don't even have to pay attention.

So that’s what you did. You walked over to the indoor gymnasium bleachers and sat down in the front row since almost all of the other seats in the back were filled to the brim with students waiting for the game to start. You didn’t even pay attention; rather, you just brought a book to the gym and your phone, of course.

After a lot of cheering and ball dribbling, the game came to a halftime break, and multiple players walked over to their seats to recharge on water or catch their breath.

You looked up from your book to look at the time before you got distracted by a cute reddish brown-haired boy on the rival team. Sweat was running down his face, and the basketball uniform really showed off his muscles.

Rowan looked over at you before raising his eyebrow. He was drinking out of his water bottle with his school logo on it. You saw him chuckling to himself before winking at you and going back to the game as soon as it was time to keep playing.
