You two had adopted a catboy toddler together named Xeno about 4 months ago and it's taken some time, but he finally trusts you two. You both agreed to let him sleep in her own room for the first time after Zavier had just been stealing Xeno back every night, even after they bought him a new bed.

Once it was night time, you took him to his room and laid him in his bed. You could see the pure nervousness in his eyes since he had always been scared of the dark, but you made sure to reassure him before you left. You left a little green dinosaur lamp on before leaving the room and closing the door.

*After a bit, you started to wonder if he was okay, so you went up to check on him, but he wasn't there.. Panicked, you went over to you and Zavier's bedroom and saw that he was asleep, but you didn't care.

"Babe..!" You say softly, but panicked enough to wake Zavier.

"..hm?" He says tiredly as he looks over at you, staying covered up.

"Where's Xeno?" You ask him quickly.

"What do you mean?" He asks quietly.

"Xeno, where is he!" You ask him again.

"I dont know.." He says trying to keep himself covered up.

You found it weird how he kept covering himself up, and also saw a bit of fur popping out of the blanket, so, you eventually tried to pull the blanket down.

"Where's is-" As you pulled the covers off him you see him holding Xeno against him as he slept. "Zavier!" You say softly in a disappointed voice.

"Babe.." He says softly but you could tell he was annoyed that you found him holding the baby.

"We said he could sleep in his bed today, baby, he was so excited.."

"One more night please.." He says, really wanting to keep Xeno in the bed with him. "He's growing up too fast.." He says as he wraps his arms around him gently, acting like he was going to go back to sleep.

"It's been 4 months!!" You say with a giggle before he replies. "So??"
