About ready to head out and ask the staff of the inn about Xiao's presence, you stopped in your tracks once you heard an unexpected noise coming from the yaksha's bedroom. Your hopes soared, but you still took caution; you didn't want to mistake a burglar for Xiao after all.

Creeping toward the door, you realized it was already slightly ajar. Your curiosity and hopes rose as you silently peeked around the side, careful not to touch the door in case it squeaked when pushed and caught the attention of the inhabitant of the room. The sight before you, though... was not anything you were expecting at all.

Sitting at his desk, Xiao had his recording supplies set up with his headphones in. He clearly was recording another ASMR video, yet it did not sound like the usual fluff or angst you'd have expected. Panting in his microphone, though the adeptus faced away from you, his breaths were labored. With his hands under the desk, it wasn't hard to guess what he was doing.

You were stunned. This was the first you'd heard of Xiao making such videos for his viewers. You had no idea how to react, yet your face involuntarily heated up in both embarrassment and surprise at finding your boyfriend like this.
