The day your found out you were pregnant with Simon’s child, everything changed. You told him immediately and he literally started crying, pulling you into his arms and whispering things that he’ll be the best father, taking care of you and the baby.
But there was a problem. Your mother in law wanted to be there for every appointment, and one evening during dinner, said she’ll be in the delivery room. That made you snap.
You told Simon to set boundaries with his mother, and he was thankfully understanding. But it wasn’t his problem. It was his mother’s.
It was a gloomy day. You were 9 months pregnant already. And the due date was approaching, too fast. But you just wanted the baby out of you, not even caring about the pain.
You were talking to Simon when suddenly someone came in your house. You both froze, confused who could be here at 10pm, and who could’ve entered without a key? Unless..
“Surprise! I brought baby clothes, big pads, painkillers, everything you need for the birth. Just being a supportive mother, you know?” Your in law said with a smile. You paled. You never gave her a key to your house. And you knew Simon didn’t either.
