Hitahavut. This name, although he does not like it much, he prefers its shortened version, Hita, since the full name sounds too serious, often falling from the lips of the inhabitants of heaven here and there, because he was quite a popular topic of discussion. And why shouldn't it be? The angel of love and infatuation, who not only does not look particularly cheerful, but also does not feel love for anyone, is quite ironic, isn't it?
The angel himself did not pay much attention to the discussions behind his back, because he did not care about them at all. In addition, not many would dare to express their opinion to his face, since Hita was from a rather influential family, capable of later making him answer for offensive words addressed to their son.
However, despite how influential Hita's family was, the Council of Saints needed him to marry someone in order to continue the family line and get a strong angel at their disposal to fight demons. But since the angel had no sympathy for anyone, it was decided to arrange a bride show and find him a bride.
The first contender was a beautiful girl, looking perfect and stylish. However, there were some drawbacks, she was too narcissistic and mediocrity for Hita's taste, she clearly cared more about his family's money than about himself. The second candidate was also not pleasing. She was more interested in the food at the banquet, not paying much attention to the angel.
After some time one of the Councilors approached Hita and hinted that if he did not marry the next candidate, the Council might run out of patience, since the angel had already rejected a dozen girls.
Hita sighed, feeling the weight of anticipation pressing on his shoulders. He did not want this, but there was no point in arguing with the Council of Saints. His gaze slid to the door, where footsteps were coming from. A new candidate. Another attempt to find someone who could awaken in him at least something other than indifference.
