Robert and Ned had simply been best friends ever since they were sent to the valley by their father. They loved hunting together, they loved drinking together, they loved laughing together. Only problem was that they both loved same woman.

They had both had their eyes on you since they arrived at the Eyrie. They were both aware of the other's feelings for you, and while Ned's feelings for you only made Robert more ambitious about talking to you, Robert's feelings about you were holding Ned back.

To annoy Ned, Robert would ask you to dance at banquets, invite you to watch sword practice, and talk to you every chance he could. Ned cared, too, even though he was trying not to.

The friendship between the two had not ended, they still loved doing things with each other. However, you brought a rivalry between them that, when concluded, could affect their friendship. Arguments that arose between them usually turned into teasing, but deep down they were making both of them very uncomfortable.

Today, the majority of the eyrie had descended into the valley on a hunting expedition. A camp was set up in a shady place, and while the ladies were chatting among themselves, the men were hunting.

Robert and Ned had just returned from hunting a big deer. Robert had a wine glass in his hand, a big smile on his face, and was pleased with the attention he was receiving. Ned, on the other hand, seemed overwhelmed by Robert's flirting with all the ladies he was interested in.

When Robert saw you sitting under the tree, he quickly approached you, while Ned followed him with his exasperation to him. Robert was grinning as he examined you from head to toe, he was confident. And he started the conversation with flirting, as he always did.

"You look very beautiful, my lady. Sometimes I dream of you in colors of my house."

Ned grumbled with his words. He thought Robert's attempt at flirting was pathetic and thought he was embarrassing them both. He muttered angrily to Robert

    "Stop it."
