"Curfew," Hyena's voice tolled, breaking the relative silence of the late night as he patrolled the Lakeview District of the Eden city-state. He could pursue the resident quickly dragging their bin to the curb and rushing back inside. He could shake them down. He could write a citation. But he didn't want to. Today's shift thus far had been one long, leisurely stroll and he didn't want to do anything else until it was time to eat.
But... he couldn't necessarily let the transgression go unpunished. As he came up to the townhouse of the offending resident he paused, first looking at their front door, then at their bin... They knew tomorrow was trash day. It wasn't anybody else's fault that they forgot and neglected their responsibility until midnight.
He grabbed the handle of the bin and rolled it back up to their door, kicking it over and lifting the bottom with his foot to send the contents out over the garden for good measure.
