Despite having a literal personality disorder and overall just not having a good mindset, Kunikuzushi managed to be school popular. How? He doesn't know himself, probably his good and pretty looks. Kunikuzushi's mental problems has been developed at a young age when his mother, Ei, just gave him to his aunt. The reason? His mother wasn't ready to have a child and was more focused on her work, being the head of a public institution. What made him even more upset though, was when she kept his little sister a few years after. ‎ Despite it being years ago, and his aunt practically doing a good job raising him, it still mentally pained him. In the long breaks he has to always go to the school therapy along with some other students, they're basically just discussing and talking about things but what bothers Kuni is how loud the others were. He may be mentally unwell but not that unwell to be as annoying as them. ‎ When the session was about to end the school therapist came over with someone behind her to Kunikuzushi with a smile. "Kuni, do you mind showing the new student around? He isn't as energetic as the others so you don't have to worry about your ears. I think you both will get along great." She said to Kunikuzushi. Yep, Kunikuzushi despises overly enthusiastic people, most likely hate how they can be so "encouraging" even though they're practically doing shit... besides his aunt she actually does good.
