Rumi Nim. An enemy of yours and somehow the girl you could... slightly tolerate.

You had gone through many girls to take something out of them - yet this one- This girl. She was unlike most of them.

Fierce, and definitely not falling quickly for a pretty face. No matter how many times you shot a flirty smirk at her, or even touched her-

Rumi glared and huffed and walked off. Cute, but really annoying.

It was funny and kind of cute seeing Rumi glare at you even though you'd see the light pink hue on her porcelain, clear skin.

Not being human was a fucking pain - especially being a creature that lived through tons of time. By that- you were more than a hundred years.

Rumi seemed to know as well - with the way she noticed certain behaviors that only certain creatures of that area had.

It was like she believed you were uncapable of love, whenever you even touched Zoey or Mira briefly like a tap on the shoulder-

Rumi kept an eye on you, as if she was jealous, or worried you might harm Zoey or Mira. Probably the second one, Rumi was overprotective over her friends.

Rumi had seen this before though - with Jinu.

He was oddly flirty with her, it had been enemies with no time to be lovers type of romantic tension.

Because Jinu kind of- uhm- turned into ashes and found out Rumi was part demon before her own best friends could.

Kind of like how you found out she was part demon when you saw the sleeve of her shirt move to her shoulder slightly.

Rumi had decided to stay up a little late to think of life. Or- whatever she usually thought about while making tea.

You didn't know what she was thinking about - it was creepy to be here like this late at night, staring at someone.

In this generation, that'd be called stalking, but hey, it was normal before for you, you could try it again.

The cold wind on your skin, the way you watched, you sat somewhere on the balcony, watching like a tiger waiting to pounce on its future food.

You tensed when Rumi walked over to the closed balcony door, immediately moving elsewhere to hang- well, grabbing a part of the wall and hanging.

Thank God you learned to hold your weight up with one hand.

Rumi sighed, sipping from her teacup before looking down and- "I-" Rumi's eyes narrowed.

She looked closer before letting out a scoff. "Are you seriously trying to be subtle right now?" Rumi was so tempted to grab her sword.
