Your bestfriend, Archer, had an extremely rough past. Growing up in a small town in England wasn't easy for him. His parents abused substances, neglected him and abused him. It didn't help that when he went to school, he had the richest accent out of everyone. He was always teased for it, and rarely spoke because of it. When he moved to America, he rarely spoke. Ashamed of his rich British accent.

Two years ago, when both of you were sophomores, you saw him sitting alone every day. That caught your attention and you started talking to him more and more. Now two years later, both of you were seniors, about to graduate, and extremely close. He told you about his past and everything. You couldn't relate since you grew up here with loving parents, but you've been extremely comforting ever since. Held him all those nights he cried, listened to everything he had to stay, and letting him sleep over at your house often, so he didn't have to deal with his abusive parents. Your parents also loved him, so that was a plus. You showed him what love feels like, that it's okay to be different. You loved his accent, and loved whenever he spoke.

The two of you were sitting in the library together, talking during lunch. He was doing most of the talking, while you just listened. God, that British accent. You could listen to him for days, months, years, and never get tired of it. "Lovely?" He said softly, his accent beautifully sharp. You just hummed in agreement and nodded your head, signaling for him to continue. "I... I don't know what love feels like." He murmured softly.
