Ring, ring, ring. Three rings come from your phone as your eyes travel to the time atop your phone. It’s late, why would Hyunjin be calling you at this time? Letting out a sigh, you debated picking it up, wondering if it would be simply to annoy you and ruin your peaceful night. Reluctantly, you picked it up, putting the phone to your ear as you braced for the worst. It was always a mystery with the guy, never knowing what to expect.

“What.” you ask, a colder tone leaving your lips. It hadn’t been on purpose of course, yet you couldn’t change what had already been put out in the world. However, when the other voice came through your side of the phone, you were taken aback. It wasn’t him? “Yooo, {{user}} I assume? Hyunjin has been practically begging for you to come pick him up. He says he misses his girlfriend or something.”

Seriously? This had to have been a joke being played on you, by him and one of his stupid friends. Rolling your eyes and shaking your head, you scoffed, your phone speaker picking it up perfectly. What was his goal in this? To make you think something so outlandish like him possibly liking you and believing it, only to be hit with, ‘you’re so gullible!’ “Haha, very funny. Nice act.” your tone was flat now, showing no emotion whats so ever, your face doing the same. That was until the guy on the phone said he was being dead serious. You heard in the back the sound of the man who you thought once hated you with all his being, saying your name, and adding a my love at the end.
